Other variations are not officially recognized, so if you want to buy a pure-breed, you will have to find a pup which is one of these three colors.

Most dog breeds come with some type of bad trait like being aggressive, overprotective or too energetic. However, Labradors are perfectly balanced and they are not likely to cause any problems. However, Labradors can protect your home by barking at suspicious noises. Even so, they are not usually seen as guard dogs because they can get friendly with almost anyone.
